Dovecliff Hall is a fine Grade 2 listed Georgian House dating from 1790. Set in a magnificent location in 7 beautiful acres of garden overlooking the River Dove, it deserves its reputation as one of the most exclusive hotels and restaurants in the Midlands.

The Hall has been carefully restored with great attention to its fine staircase, panelled hall and spacious lounges, making it one of the most elegant and interesting restaurants in the Midlands.

Enormous effort has been made to bring the previously neglected gardens back to the high standard of an English country house. The old carriageway has been uncovered and the cliff walk cleared to allow views of the River Dove and its rushing weir. The extensive lawns and formal gardens with the giant Cedar tree and the shady spinney give the Hall an imposing background.
